Public Procurement
The procurement procedure sets the tone of an entire construction project. By using the traditional method with a focus on the lowest price, clients inevitably create a ‘race to the bottom’ on price and everything connected with it. This tender price is usually a fiction compared with the ultimate cost.
The use of Quality-Based Procurement, which combines quality, sustainability and price criteria, enables clients to make a holistic assessment of value for money. This approach incentivises also highly qualified bidders and allows them greater flexibility to provide tailored and innovative solutions.
