İstanbul’a Hoşgeldiniz
Welcome to İstanbul

EIC and its Turkish Member Federation, TCA, are pleased to invite you to the EIC Autumn 2026 Conference in İstanbul, with a Workshop on:

Managing Construction Risks in a New Era of Geopolitical Uncertainty

For TCA and EIC, this workshop represents an important opportunity to bring together international contractors, financial institutions, policymakers and industry experts at a time when geopolitical developments are increasingly shaping the global infrastructure landscape. As construction markets face growing uncertainty driven by regional conflicts, supply chain disruptions, economic volatility and shifting investment priorities, the ability of the sector to adapt to a rapidly changing environment has become more critical than ever. In parallel, contractors and project owners are being required to strengthen resilience, reassess risk-sharing mechanisms and develop more flexible delivery models capable of responding to complex global challenges.

The workshop in İstanbul will provide a platform to examine the evolving geopolitical and economic risks affecting international construction and infrastructure investment. Discussions will focus on global infrastructure trends, risk management strategies, resilience-oriented procurement approaches and the role of multilateral development banks in supporting recovery and reconstruction efforts, particularly in regions impacted by conflict and instability. Through keynote presentations and interactive discussions, participants will exchange perspectives on how contractors, financial institutions and public authorities can collaborate to improve project resilience, manage uncertainty and ensure the sustainable delivery of infrastructure projects in an increasingly fragmented and risk-sensitive global environment.
