EU Competition Policy
The EU welcomes free global trade and fair and sustainable competition internationally and in its Internal Market to boost economic growth. At the same time, the EU stands firm against unfair trade practices through trade defence instruments (TDIs) which are indispensable to uphold the EU's commitment to open markets and free trade.
EIC promotes towards EU policymakers full reciprocity regarding access to third-country procurement markets, the elimination of distortive subsidies from construction tenders and a level playing field in the area of sustainability obligations.
